Who we are….
Glanusk Country Store was founded in 2018 by Coral and Tim, countryside and animal lovers with a family of outdoor enthusiasts and four legged friends. Prior to the purchase of the premises and set up of the store Coral worked with her friend and colleague a local vet, working out of the same building the store is held in today. Glanusk Country Store is a trusted supplier to the locals of Sennybridge, Brecon and its surrounding area. Coral’s ethos is to provide experienced knowledge and a full range of quality products for all buyers and to always strive for care and satisfaction for each customer. What we do....
We are a small yet experienced team here at Glanusk Country Store. Our Gun Room manager is available for all shooting related queries and is always happy to give non obligatory advice. We have a well-stocked gun room that holds a collection of carefully chosen guns, new and second hand, these straddle a range of budgetary needs. We are an Eley and Browning registered stockist and can also order to specification as well as manage any transfer requirements. We also offer gun fitting, repairs, polishing and refinishing by appointment. Alongside the Gun Room we stock a vast supply of accessories and country wear clothing, Children to Adult sizes to support your shooting and game and outdoor needs.
Our Equestrian section offers our customers a large supply of items for the horse and rider including an extensive range of riding wear for all ages, our ethos is always to supply quality tried and tested goods that cover a range of budgets, we are proud to be able to stock some of the best supplier brands in the UK. Our Equestrian manager is always happy to advise or research requirements to ensure purchase satisfaction.
Glanusk have also invested in outdoor footwear: Wellingtons, yard boots, work boots, walking boot, game boots, as well as stylish classic country footwear. We stock a wealth of known quality makers, again to fit all budgets.
We can provide you with a Fly-Fishing starter kit or separate rod, reel and line for your Fly-Fishing enjoyment – we stock a range of Airflo equipment as well as various fly’s and accessories.
For your Canine needs we have stocked a selection of grooming products, flea prevention and cure, collars, leads, beds and canine accessories.
We have a gift area in the shop which boasts a lovely selection of handbags made from both leather and Welsh tweed, wallets and purses, keyrings, scarfs, broaches and tie pins, cufflinks, greetings cards and other countryside themed curiosities.
